About Me

I completed my initial training at the Awareness Centre in South London, I am a registered member of the BACP and I am in regular clinical supervision; this supports my practice and continuing professional development. I have experience of working in a low-cost counselling service, within the NHS and in private practice.

Before training as a therapist, I worked for many years in community mental health care as a support worker, supervisor and service manager. This has given me a grounding in person centred care, an understanding of complex needs and experience of how living with serious mental illness can be challenging and isolating. If this has been part of your experience, I will listen without judgement and will work alongside you as you navigate this stage of your life.

I have also worked in editorial roles, in film making and in organisational development. I have a wide range of interests outside of the therapy room, these support my wellbeing and include creative practices, sports and travel.

You can read more about my approach here, or if you’d like to discuss my ways of working and experience please contact me for a free consultation. I’m always happy to answer any questions and to speak about how we might work together.
